The preliminary results of the 2026 University Council elections have been announced, and it’s a moment of great celebration for Fractie SAM. We are proud to share that we have officially become the party with the most student votes (1,827) at Tilburg University!
A result of hard work After a long and engaging election week, our efforts have paid off. We have gained an extra seat, bringing us to a total of 4 seats in the University Council.
Our current chair, Wiktoria Kaminska, is incredibly proud of the team effort: “We worked incredibly hard, with nine candidates supported by many friends on campus. Our year-round visibility truly paid off.”
Gratitude to our voters This success belongs to the entire student community that believes in our vision. We want to express our deepest gratitude to every student who cast their vote for SAM. It is an honor to represent you for the coming term.
With this expanded presence in the Council, we are stronger than ever and fully energized to advocate for your interests, push for better facilities, and ensure the student voice remains central to Tilburg University.
We look forward to a successful collaboration with all parties in the Council and are eager to start this new chapter.
