Initiative: Recognizing AIESEC internships abroad for ECTS credits

We handed in an initiative regarding recognizing AIESEC internships abroad for ECTS credits. Student Party SAM and AIESEC would like to ask the Executive Board to examine the possibilities of offering ECTS for the internships which AIESEC offers. By providing official recognition in the form of ECTS credits, Tilburg University would remove a barrier to partaking in these internships and demonstrates its support for students seeking diverse learning experiences. We think it fits with the ambitions of Tilburg University, and are certain that it would improve students’ educational experiences, as well as strengthen their position in the labor market.
