At the beginning of the academic year SAM wrote a letter to the Executive Board about the housing situation. The housing problem has existed for years and keeps growing. Especially for international students the situation can be quite dire, since Covid-19 played a big role during this period and many students were unable to come to campus because they got infected, or were too scared to go. In the letter SAM asked the Executive Board to provide (international) students, who could not come to physical classes because they did not have housing, with online education. By doing so we hoped that these students had extra time to find housing without having to suffer a study delay. The Executive Board responded that these students could reach out to their program coordinators about their situation so that they could look into the possibilities of a tailored / customized form of education.
