The time has finally come: the University Council of 16 December 2016 has given a positive advice on the Sports Canteen! After a long process, started with an initiative of FOSST, Merlijn, SHOT, Lacoste, and Fractie SAM from November 2014, the construction can be started early 2017.
After the option of purchasing a building was cancelled this summer, the university has made rapid progress in the matter. FOSST and the sports associations were very well involved in the accelerated process, partly on our initiative. We are sure that the canteen will meet all the wishes and requirements of the sports associations and their members.
